Dallas Volunteer Fire Department

The Dallas Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) provides a broad spectrum of both emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens and visitors of our community.

DVFD is a unique organization that strives to anticipate the needs of the citizens, and has a long tradition of providing high quality fire, rescue, and fire prevention services to the Greater Dallas Community. We take pride in the delivery of fire protection, fire control and fire prevention services with a genuine commitment to those we serve. We provide fire safety classes annually to Carr Elementary School, the local day care centers and the senior citizens at the Church Street Apartments. These services are provided by highly-trained and motivated staff of volunteer and paid professionals. The department also plays a major part in the annual Fourth of July fireworks display, as well as being in charge of the annual Christmas Parade.

Fire Chief Earl Withers III works side-by-side with the 34 dedicated men and women of the DVFD. Through their time, talents, dedication to duty and dignity in work effort, they provide the utmost quality service to our community.
