Rental Venues

There are several locations within the Town of Dallas that residents and visitors are available for events, social gatherings, sports, parties, and more!

To reserve one of the spaces below, please contact Town Hall at 704-922-3176 or visit Town Hall Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

    Location: 424 S Spargo Street

    Shelter Size: 32' x 46' (1472 SF)

    Rental Availability:

          AM Block 10am – 2pm

          PM Block 3pm – 7pm (winter hours: 3pm – dusk)

          Daily 10am – 7pm (winter hours: 10am – dusk)

    Rental Fees: See Recreation Fee Schedule

    Refund Policy: Cancellation of a reservation will result in the rental fee being non-refundable unless the cancellation notice is received 10 days prior to the reservation. In the event of inclement weather cancellation notice must be received 5 days prior to the reservation. If it rains the day of your event no refund will be issued but the user may choose another available date at the same location within one month of the original reservation date.

    Note: A shelter reservation does not close the entire park – it is still open to the public.

    Town-sponsored use of the Picnic Shelter shall consist of: The Crop Walk, pre-season organized Youth Soccer games, practices, and banquets involving all team members; and the annual 4th of July Fireworks display. 

    Location: 225 S Oakland St

    Shelter Size: 20' x 20' (400 SF)

    Rental Availability:

          AM Block 10am – 2pm

          PM Block 3pm – 7pm (winter hours: 3pm – dusk)

          Daily 10am – 7pm (winter hours: 10am – dusk)

  • Town-sponsored use of the Dallas Town Civic Center Building shall consist of the holding of ongoing, organized Senior Citizen exercise and fitness classes as well as regularly-scheduled educational and social meetings and trip planning sessions. 

    Location: 206 S Oakland Street

    Total Area:  2800 SF                Occupancy: approx. 100 

    Includes:  kitchenette, indoor restroom, use of chairs and tables

    Location: 424 South Spargo Street

    Fields Available: a lighted youth baseball/softball field

    At present, the Town of Dallas does not sanction or organize the use of Jaggers Park for any fee-for-participation teams, leagues, or activities. However, we reserve the right to do so for Youth or Adult Baseball and/or Softball games or practices of sanctioned teams/leagues.

    Location: 307 S Pine Street

    Fields Available: 4 lighted youth baseball fields: Wooten, Watson, Cudd and "t-ball"

    The Town of Dallas Parks & Recreation Department Sanctions and Organizes an extensive list of fee-for- participation Youth sports at Carr School Fields, which includes in-season and pre-season practices and games, involving all team members, for Baseball (T-ball, Coach-pitch, and traditional), Softball, and Soccer.

    Any and all other use, including Adult team or League play, or Youth Fall Baseball, or any other organized activities not subject to fee-for-participation under Town Fee Schedule B, shall be allowed only if scheduled not in conflict with Town-sanctioned and organized activities and then subject to fees: See Recreation Fee Schedule

    Location: 225 S Oakland St

    Fields Available: extensive lawn area for football or soccer practice, Frisbee or general recreation

    Town-sponsored use of the athletic field at Cloninger Park shall consist of: Inseason, or pre-season organized (Southland League) Youth Football games and practices involving all team members; the yearly 4th of July Fireworks display; and general, open public use of the walking track.   • Town-sponsored use of the Dennis Franklin Gym shall consist of: In-season, or pre-season, Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Games and Practices involving all team or squad members. Any and all other use shall be prohibited unless authorized in advance by formal action of the Board of Aldermen.

    Use by participants engaged in pre-approved and permitted activities may only occur and continue so long as a Town of Dallas employee remains present within the building.
