Cloninger Park: Located along S. Oakland St., South of W. Church St., this neighborhood park contains a children's play area; a 0.2 mile paved walking track, benches and dog waste stations. It also has an extensive lawn area for football or soccer practice, Frisbee or general recreation.

Jaggers Park:
Located near the southern terminus of S. Spargo St, this neighborhood park boasts a paved walking track; children's play area; a picnic shelter with grills and tables;2 lighted basketball/multi-purpose courts and a lighted youth baseball/softball field.

Carr School Fields: 
A joint partnership between the Town of Dallas and Gaston County Public Schools, the area directly behind Carr Elementary School along S.Pine St south of W. Carpenter St boasts 4 lighted youth baseball fields: Wooten, Watson, Cudd and "t-ball". This area also has a permanent concession stand, unpaved walking track and can be used during portions of the year for youth soccer.

Dennis Franklin Gym:
Located at 208 W Church St this traditionally designed gymnasium has a single court along with permanent seating for 500+; restrooms; concessions; paved parking and an outdoor children's play area with play structure and 2 swing sets.
