We love seeing our community enjoy the Dallas Courthouse, especially for memorable photos and special occasions.
To assist us in serving the public effectively, we kindly ask you to be considerate during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
During these hours, please refrain from blocking entrances, sidewalks, or parking areas, and help maintain a quiet, respectful atmosphere for staff and visitors conducting their business inside. Photography and casual use of the grounds are always welcome outside of business hours and on weekends, unless a Town-sanctioned event is scheduled.
If any activity disrupts staff or daily operations, Town staff may request individuals or groups to shift to another area or pause. We truly appreciate your cooperation.
Thank you for assisting us in keeping the Courthouse welcoming, safe, and accessible for everyone!
Memorial Day Event Monday the 25th, 11AM, at the Dallas Courthouse Square dedicating Vietnam Veterans engraved blocks.
Due to ongoing drought conditions, the Catawba Wateree Water Management Group (CWWMG) has upgraded the water conservation status to Stage II – Mandatory Reductions as of today, Friday May 1, 2026.
In Stage 2, Mandatory Reductions I, Town of Dallas residents/customers, are expected to reduce their water use by 10% in comparison to their previous month’s water bill. Outdoor watering is now limited to specific days and times, and some water uses are prohibited. Fines may apply for repeat violations. In addition to continuing to encourage all voluntary reduction actions, the following restrictions apply:
- irrigation is limited to a half inch per week between 8PM and 8AM;
- outdoor use of drinking water for washing impervious surfaces is prohibited;
- and all testing and training purposes requiring drinking water (e.g. fire protection) will be limited.
The Town of Dallas will continue to monitor conditions in coordination with regional partners and will provide updates as they become available.
