Public Records
The Office of the Town Clerk holds official responsibility for the creation, maintenance and preservation of Public Records for the Town of Dallas. Specifically, the Town Clerk prepares official Minutes of all Meetings of the Board of Aldermen; compiles, records and maintains Town Ordinances and Resolutions; Keeps and files contracts, Town policies (Administrative and Personnel) and other official documents and correspondence, including archived Board agendas and Meeting packet materials.
