Water & Sewer
The Town of Dallas operates and maintains a comprehensive system of infrastructure, consisting of a treatment plant; distribution mains; pump stations; valves; hydrants; storage tanks, and meters in order to provide safe, reliable good-tasting, potable water to all areas within the Town limits, as well as to limited areas extending beyond the Town's jurisdictional boundaries. The Town also provides a similarly comprehensive system of sanitary sewer infrastructure consisting of a treatment plant; collection mains; lift stations; and catch basins in order to collect and treat sanitary sewer discharges from all homes and businesses in the community, as well as limited areas extending beyond Town limits.

Charged with the Operation and maintenance of these systems is the Town's Water and Sewer Department. Employees in this small but efficient Department are assigned to one of five (5) Divisions consisting of:
  • Water Treatment Plant
  • Waste Water Treatment Plant
  • Water Distribution System
  • Sewer Collection System
  • Stormwater Collection
