voltage transmission system serves approximately 1,493 customers inside the Town’s corporate limits and 1,239 customers located outside of these limits.
The electrical substation has a 1,000 amps bus bar, and a 20-mega watt rating capacity size.
The Town operates a Supervisory Control and Data Acquition (SCADA) to help manage load and voltage for the electrical system. Presently, more control units are being added to the SCADA system for electrical system enhancements, and for the Town's water and wastewater systems.
